Richard R. Cuba, CFP®, CWS®

Richard R. Cuba, CWS®, CFP®, has 40 years of experience in the Financial Services Profession. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1973. He worked for 10 years for Procter and Gamble, holding various positions including an upper management position at one of Procter and Gamble’s largest production facilities. In 1983, he helped co-found an independent, comprehensive financial planning firm (First Financial Planners, Inc.) and a registered broker/dealer (FFP Securities, Inc.), for which he served as interim President and Chief Operating Officer in the early 1990’s. He holds both the prestigious Certified Wealth Strategist® certification and a Certified Financial Planner® designation.

Mr. Cuba previously served as a Registered Principal of First Allied Securities, Inc. He was one of four representatives who serve on First Allied’s Chairman Emeritus Council, having the responsibility for advising the First Allied management team.

Mr. Cuba has served on the boards of Kenrick – Glennon Seminary, Notre Dame Regional High School, Saint Francis Medical Center Foundation, Missouri Catholic Conference, and the Representative Advisory Committees of FFP Securities, Inc. and First Allied Securities, Inc. as well as chaired various other local and financial committees. He and his wife, Rhonda, have successfully owned, operated, and sold an Early Childhood Education business.

Currently, Rick is a member of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Board of Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri. His interests include reading, traveling, and devoting time to the mission of his Church. He and Rhonda have been married for over 48 years and have four grown children and seven grandchildren. They currently reside in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
